About Us

TXCPA Houston was founded in 1928 to support local accounting professionals.  For 38 years, the organization has provided financial assistance to support education, local children's charities, and accounting scholarships.  Since 2005, more than 490 students in the Houston area have received up to $5,000 to help complete their education towards their dreams to become a certified public accountant. For some, this meant the difference between graduation and dropping out of school for financial reasons. Your financial support of the 2024 Scholarship Extravaganza is appreciated!
